"Wasao Sable", which is sold at Aomori's Japanese confectionery store "Mezuka no Yamazazaki" (TEL 0173-72-2002, Aigagasawa-cho, Nishitsugaru-gun), is currently being talked about on the Internet as "easy to crack."

The same product that was sold at the same store around the fall of 2010. It was designed by Yasuhiro Yamazaki, the third-generation store owner, based on the movie “Wasao” released in 2011, based on the motif of “Wasao”, an Akita dog kept in the same town. Chopped chocolate chips are placed on the sable cloth and the ears and nose are drawn using the coated balls for Japanese sweets.

The reason why it became a hot topic on the Internet was that the voice actor from Aomori, Saori Mikami, gave the confectionery to the voice actor Mikako Komatsu as a souvenir for homecoming. Mr. Komatsu posted a photo of the cracked confectionery on Twitter, saying, "I got a souvenir... Wasao..." (Original mom). Next, he posted an apology saying "I'm sorry it's easy to crack" posted in the food labeling section, and tweeted, "I'm just apologizing for it's easy to crack...".

Komatsu-san's tweet was told by a girl who loves anime. “I'm just sorry,” says Yamazaki, who shrugs. In January 2016, we changed the dough for the confectionery, but said, "It is not necessary to increase the thickness to make it harder to break. We want to provide it with a thickness that is easy to eat while leaving a crispy texture." Show your commitment.

The apology statement in the food label is an idea of Mr. Hisae, wife of Mr. Yamazaki. With the revision of the Food Labeling Act in 2015, the label was enlarged, and a blank space was created in the frame that describes the ingredients of the confectionery. Mr. Toshie, who came up with the idea that "a message may be added," wrote to the same confectionery that had many "cracking" returns from that time, "I'm sorry because it breaks easily and the chocolate melts easily when it gets hot." ..

“I'm surprised to hear that the apology that hadn't responded until now was such a response,” says Yamazaki. "I sell it in boxes, and if I bring it back in a box, the chances of breaking it are low. I want the displayed products to be handled gently."

The price is 150 yen per piece. In addition to the same store, it is sold at the sea station "Wand" (Honmachi, Ajigasawa-machi).
