    “MORE THAN Project Local Talk Jam CARAVAN in Hirosaki” was held on November 30 at Hirosaki's gallery “Space Denega” (Kamigaraga-cho, Hirosaki City).

    As part of a support project conducted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry to sell Japanese products and services overseas, we will visit 10 locations nationwide, interact with local creators, think about new developments and information transmission to the world. In the first part, the opening talk and talk session were held, and in the second part, the exchange meeting was held among the participants.

    In the talk session entitled "Aomori's eyes from the producer's eyes and the challenge to the world", Eriko Kitabata, a lacquer drop who makes accessories for Tsugaru lacquer, and Akira Narita of Orikasa Mitsu star farm, respectively. I talked about my experiences. "I entered the world of Tsugaru-nuri when I saw a newspaper and had a lack of successors at the age of 27. It was an industry with potential," said Kitahata. Mr. Narita says, "Aomori apples in Taiwan have a high reputation, and they may be traded at a higher price than in Japan."

    At the exchange meeting, there were 60 participants who exchanged business cards and talked about their work. A 30-year-old man living in Hirosaki who participated said, "I was working on furniture sales, and I heard a story that could be helpful as to how to sell things.
