"Hirosaki Bar Street" will be held on July 5th in Hirosaki City centering on the blacksmith town. This is the 7th time and 81 stores have participated. Shops in the Nishihiro area will also join for the first time.

Hirosaki Bargai is an eating and drinking event where you can purchase five spelling tickets and enjoy a drink with pinchos (snacks) prepared by each participating store with one ticket. Takasaki Yamazaki, the owner and chef of the Yamazaki restaurant in the Hirosaki Bar-gai executive committee secretariat, plans to "make the city a little better" in a shrinking mood after the Great East Japan Earthquake. "There were many people who didn't even know the word" bar "at the beginning of the launch, and there were few supporters. We searched for each one and went to each and every one of our cooperating stores," he recalls. Nowadays, there are participants not only in the city but also from the suburbs, and the number of people who do not know about each other is increasing.

I also advise you how to enjoy the Bal streets by looking at the "Hiro Bar MAP" that you can get when purchasing tickets and imagining how to go around the store. As a special plan, we are planning a tour to find famous shops in Hirosaki with the tourism alliance group "Backstreet Detectives" before the event.

The ticket is 3,500 yen in advance. Sold at Hirosaki Bar Street participating stores, city tourist information centers, Hotel New Castle, and Best Western Hotel New City Hirosaki. Tickets can also be used for taxi fare payment. Tickets that can not be used up on the day can be used for part of payment at cooperating stores between 6th and 10th of July.
