    Katsumi Miyagawa, who worked for local activities in Hirosaki, died of heart failure on the morning of September 27. Year 52.

    Miyagawa was born in 1964 as the second eldest son of a clothing store in Hirosaki. After graduating from Tooku Gijuku High School, went on to Kanazawa Institute of Technology. After graduating from university, he worked at a major electronics retail store that he continued working as a part-time job, and was said to have been overtaken by the manager at a young age.

    After returning to Hirosaki, he inherited the clothes store, which was a family business, but closed in 1997 and joined the Shimotatemachi Shopping District Promotion Association. In 2003, he published Hirosaki's close-knit information magazine, "TEKUTEKU," and was involved as a representative of the magazine for more than 10 years.

    In recent years, Mr. Miyagawa, who has been devoted to local activities, has been appointed as Hirosaki Leadman in 2012 to promote the city center as the secretary general of the association, and is active in lectures and as an observer for various Hirosaki events. We also made efforts to expand the exchange population from outside the prefecture.

    According to relatives, a wide range of generations have come to the consolation and feel the wide range of exchanges of Mr. Miyagawa. "I want the next generation to realize the "Hirosaki" that he was aiming for," he said.
