On April 10th, Aomori/Kuroishi opened a miso ramen specialty store, “Miso Ramen Kuroishi Tetsumando” (Kamiishi, Kuroishi, TEL 0172-53-6225).

The main menu is miso ramen, as well as the black stone B-class gourmet "Tsuyu yakisoba".

Miso uses miso "Yokoyama brewing" (Otokomachi) founded in 1921. Daisuke Soma, the store manager, said, “The reason I opened my shop was simply because I liked miso ramen. Yokoyama Brewery's miso had an old-fashioned manufacturing method that my grandmother taught me and the taste was similar.”

After graduating from high school, Mr. Soma said that he went to Tokyo and worked in a ramen shop while doing band activities. In 2000, he formed the rock band "Hoidows" and served as the leader "Tetsuman". In 2004, the base Hideaki Ishinabe joined. After winning a grand prize at a Yamaha-sponsored music event and providing the theme song for "Tsuyaki Yakisoba," he returned to Kuroishi in 2009. Since then, Soma has been traveling between Tokyo and Kuroishi, but in 2012, guitarist Takeshi Kaita and in 2015, drummer Mitsuhiro Wada moved to Kuroishi. In March 2016, Mr. Ishinabe also moved.

“I've never been forced,” said Soma, who smiles. “The members of the band had a family relationship, and Kuroishi was easier to live in than Tokyo.” The restaurant will be served with Mr. Ishinabe who moved.

The store area is about 18 tsubo. There are 23 seats. The interior of the store was helped by friends and friends connected to the band, and the characters on the menus and signs were written by Soma himself in ink. Mr. Soma said that the store used to be a place where there was a musical instrument store before, and "I am deeply moved to open my own store in a memorable place."

The menu is "Kiso Miso Ramen" (600 yen), "Kou Miso Ramen", "Soymilk Miso Ramen" (700 yen), "Umkara Miso Ramen" (750 yen) , "Kuroishi Yakisoba" (500 yen), "Kuroishi Miso Soy Yakisoba" "Spicy Yakisoba" (over 600 yen). The noodle menu does not use garlic, but includes fried burdock from Aomori Prefecture. "I want garlic to be toppings of my choice," says Soma. The side menu includes "Handmade Gyoza" (400 yen), "Snacks served with char siu" (500 yen), and "Negiya char siu" (300 yen).

Soma said, "My goal was to have a store. Next time I want to be eaten every day when it is delicious. If you also support the band activities at the same time," he smiles.

Business hours are from 11:00 to 21:00. Closed on Mondays.
