The Hirosaki Dance Festival 2016 will be held on April 20 at the Civic Cultural Exchange Hall on the 4th floor of Hiroro shopping mall "Hiroro" (Ekimaemachi, Hirosaki City).

This is the sixth event that break dancers from all over Japan gather in Hirosaki to compete for skills. According to the organizer of the Hirosaki Arts Dance Executive Committee, the total number of entries for the contestants, which was closed on May 19, exceeded 200, and this year is the largest ever.

Among the contestants, JUST FIT (Kenkyu Suzuki), a nursery teacher dancer living in Hirosaki who won the best in Japan at the 2014 Break Dance Contest Red Bull BC One, and the world breakbreak competition held in the UK. BOMBER (Mitsuru Yoshida), who also lives in Hirosaki, who entered the Japan national team and won the best four, has entered.

Mainly on the team battle contest on the day, the newly established "3on3 break dance battle contest" from this year is a competition supported by "Red Bull BC One" called "the highest peak of street dance competition" Become. As a guest dancer, “Co-thkoo”, a two-person dance team representing Japan, who won the world championship in street dance twice, will participate and perform the dance.
