"Yayoi Outdoor Festival 2016" will be held on May 21-22 at "Yayoi Ikoino Hiroba" in Hirosaki (Hirosaki City Hyakusawa).

This is the second year of the event, which focuses on the exhibition and sale of outdoor equipment, and provides contents that even beginners of outdoor activities can easily enjoy. It will be the largest event in Tohoku, displaying more than 20 tents and tarps made by the outdoor maker "Coleman".

At the venue, Owani Nature Village (Owani Town, Aomori Prefecture) will open a food booth that sells pork skewers, and on the 21st, "Iwakiyama Beekeeping" (Momozawa) will sell prefectural honey. The outdoor equipment lottery, which was held last year and became so popular that there was a line of people seeking numbered tickets, will also be held. At the hands-on experience corner, you will be offered a Dutch open experience (3,500 yen, reservation required), a lantern making experience with empty cans (200 yen), an application that can be used outdoors, and a free milking experience (21 days only).
