On April 22nd, the Japanese-style umbrella specialty store "Hokusai Graphic" opened on the first floor of Hirosaki's shopping mall "Hiroro" (Ekimae-cho, Hirosaki City).

"Hokusai Graphic" is a new brand launched by "Wagokoro" (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) in May 2015. This is the third store in Japan, and it will be the first store in the Tohoku region.

Mainly on the original Japanese pattern umbrella of the same brand, the company will be offering the hiyori brand yukata and the Kanzashiya wargo kanzashi.

“The two weeks have passed since the store opened, and I was worried that Hirosaki would accept it because of its bright colors and patterns, but many young women come to buy umbrellas and other products. , Some buy it as a gift from men to women," he says with a smile.

We have more than 500 items in a store of about 30 tsubo. The lineup includes more than 70 types, including a Japanese pattern transparent umbrella (1,600 yen), a folding umbrella (2,900 yen), a Hokusai Jamome umbrella (3,200 yen), a Maiko umbrella (8,900 yen), and a Hokusai Ban umbrella (24,900 yen).

In addition to these, we also offer girders, obi belts, accessory cases, handmade hairpins (from 2,200 yen) to make it easy to coordinate with a yukata (from 3,900 yen). You can use the mannequin installed in the store to practice how to put a hairpin.

Ms. Kusari said, "We can easily match our Japanese umbrellas and hairpins in casual everyday clothes. There are many products that can be used everyday, so I want to increase the number of fans in Hirosaki."

Business hours are from 10:00 to 20:00.
