Hirosaki's travel agency "Tabisuke" (Hirosaki City, Dote Town) started selling the travel plan "Hirosaki Sakura Festival at a farmer's night" on March 15.

This plan uses green tourism to experience agriculture. You can not only walk around Hirosaki Park during the Hirosaki Sakura Festival but also stay at a farm house in the Iwaki district of the city and experience farming. "It may be a rare initiative nationwide," said Raisa Nishitani, the agency's agent.

With a schedule of 1 night and 2 days, on the 1st day, after gathering at Hirosaki station, we will take a farm pick-up and go to the farmland for a farming experience. After the experience, a farmer will guide you to Hirosaki Park and watch the cherry blossoms at night. Have dinner at a market stall in the park. On the second day, after breakfast, walk around Hirosaki Park and dissolve at Hirosaki Station.

Regarding the background to the plan, Mr. Nishitani said, "During the cherry blossom festival during which more than 2 million tourists visit, the city has only 2600 rooms for accommodation, which is a great opportunity loss. On the other hand, green tourism has always been acceptable, but the "always" call is difficult for users to use, and packaging makes it easier to use."

Mr. Nishitani shows his enthusiasm when he prepares a travel plan for farmer stays even during the Neputa Festival and apple harvest season. "Although the number of people that can be accepted is small, it would be an opportunity for as many people as possible to come to the Hirosaki Sakura Festival, which is known as the best in Japan."

The price is 11,000 yen. The implementation dates are April 23-24 and April 29-30. Capacity is 20 people each. At Hirosaki Station, travel expenses to the local area are not included in the travel price.
