On May 25, at the Iwakiyama Tourism Association parking lot special stage (Hirosaki City Hyakusawa), a music event sponsored by the association, “Yama ROCK” was held.

"Yama ROCK" is, as the name suggests, an outdoor live event where "play rock in the mountains and listen to rock". At the foot of Mt. Iwaki, known as Tsugaru Fuji, it was planned that you would like to enjoy music while being surrounded by nature. This will be the fourth time this year.

It was blessed with good weather on the same day, and many music fans and their families visited. In a perfect location where you can see the fresh greenery and Mt. Iwaki of the remaining snow clearly, all 12 groups centered on local bands performed their respective styles.

A male office worker who visited from the city with three parents said, "I can't usually go to live events, but Yama ROCK has a laid-back atmosphere and it's fun because the whole family can participate." Mr. Tatetakako, a singer-songwriter living in Nagano and active all over the country, has appeared since the first time in 2011. "I want to sing this place next year as well," he said.

The event is scheduled to be held next year.
