The fourth volume of the cartoon "Flying Witch" set in Aomori/Hirosaki will be released on March 9.

A 15-year-old witch, Makoto Kohata, who came from Yokohama to Aomori, depicts the everyday life with her relatives. Bi-monthly serialization in "Separate Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha), 3 previously published single comics. From April 9, it has been decided that it will be animated on the Nippon TV series.

In addition to new characters appearing in Volume 4, not only Hirosaki but also various spots in Aomori are set. It is said that the beachfront that is the cover illustration of Volume 4 is Ajigasawa beach, and the author of the city, Chihiro Ishizuka, has visited the car by car.

Hirosaki, a local who is showing excitement as the start date of TV animation is approaching. In August last year, Ishizuka and editor Shintaro Kawabobo made a courtesy call to Mayor Hiroyuki Noriyuki Kasai. At that time, he saw Mr. Ishizuka talking about Tsugaru dialect instead of the standard language, and glanced at Mr. Ishizuka as the "Aomori citizen", Kawakubo recalls.

The Kinokuniya Bookstore Hirosaki store (Hirosaki city bank) will have a special venue inside the store, and from 10th March, the day after the comic will be released, an original reproduction exhibition will be held. Until May 5th.
