At the Apple Park in Hirosaki City (Tomizawa, Shimizu, Hirosaki City), the "Apple Flower Festival" is now held to enjoy the cherry blossom viewing. The event was planned to enjoy cherry blossom viewing besides cherry blossoms, which is said to be the best in Japan.

The garden is about 52,000 square meters, which is slightly wider than the Tokyo Dome, and 1200 apple trees are planted in about 65 species. Apple is a plant of the same rose family as cherry blossoms, and since white flowers similar to cherry blossoms bloom in late spring, it has been attracting attention in recent years as a cherry blossom viewing to enjoy after cherry blossoms.

"The locals are enjoying apple blossom viewing while drinking apple liquor," said Konoaki Ono, a member of the executive committee of the project, and said, "I want tourists to enjoy this luxury."

The highlight of this year is the newly opened cider workshop “kimori” in the park. In addition to pre-sale of the cider manufactured by the same workshop, on May 16th and 17th, we will open a "cider night" where you can compare and drink cider and other apple liquor.

In addition, by creating a sticker with a picture and pasting it on the apple before harvest, we are planning an experience corner to send the apple with a picture in the fall and a stroll while riding in the apple garden.
