"Dote-machi Parlor Mode Cafe" (TEL 0172-88-5226) opened on October 13 at Dote-cho Community Park Gochiso Plaza (Dote-cho, Hirosaki City).

The shop mainly offers roll cakes and hot snacks and other light meals. Operated by Apple Creations (Dote Town).

Mr. Takuya Narita of the company said, “I thought of a sweets store that uses locally grown fruits, and thought of a roll cake. The name of the parlor, which is French, means a salon or a place to entertain customers, but it may mean play or coffee depending on the generation. No. I meant it as a store that creates new value."

Narita was born of an apple farmer. Since I was a child, I never had the opportunity to buy fruits, so I was able to realize the rich fruits of Aomori. Mr. Narita says, "Of course, we produce a variety of fruits, not only apples, but also unknown ones. It would be an opportunity to know the fruits of Aomori with roll cakes."

Narita-san's idea was to prepare an apple (300 yen) for the menu. Cut and serve raw apples. According to Narita, even apple farmers have few places to eat new varieties. Narita says, “Variety such as Star King and Chiaki are nostalgic apples for locals. The apples that can be provided vary depending on the season, but we would like to actively incorporate them into the menu.”

In addition to the sweets menu such as roll cake (various pieces = 350 yen, 1 piece = 1,500 yen, takeout possible), gateau chocolate (700 yen), sweets sandwich (680 yen each), various drinks are prepared (single item) =350 yen~, set=200 yen). We will also prepare a menu with a set of salad and soup on hot sand (680 yen and up).

Mr. Narita says, "We have only light meals right now, but we want to increase the number of roll cakes that focus on lunch menus and cross-sections so that we can create a store where you can enjoy local production for local consumption."
