The cardboard modeling festival ``Damborian 6'' will be held on December 3rd at ``To-O-Nippo Shinmachi Building ``New's'' (Shinmachi, Aomori City).

This is the 6th year for this event, which is a resource-saving entertainment originating from Aomori and features displays of cardboard objects and costumes, as well as costume projects using items made from cardboard. During the event, 32 exhibitors from all over the country will exhibit their works in three categories: "Smile," "Object," and "Cosplay."

On the day of the festival, "Cardboard Cosplayers" will perform their customary procession, and there will also be dance presentations. At the food and beverage booths, seven stores will sell deli breads, coffee, and other items. Seven stores will open. At the workshop booth, there will be a hands-on experience using cardboard (participation is free; advance reservations required).

During the event, the venue will be modeled on the fictional country ``Dumborian Republic,'' and visitors will be able to make purchases and other payments using ``Bolian'' banknotes issued at the entrance.

Chairman of the executive committee, Takahisa Mikami, said, ``I want everyone on the floor to enjoy the world of Damborian.This year, there are teams of parents and children and local high school students participating for the first time, so I'm looking forward to it.This is a new step in Damborian that can be enjoyed by everyone from children to the elderly. Please come and see it.''

The event is held from 10:00 to 17:00. free entrance.
