Kazamaura Ayu salmon where you can enjoy rare fresh sashimi
The Kazamaura Ayu eel, which is landed while the fishing ground is nearby, is attractive because you can eat sashimi and sushi of sushi that you can't eat anywhere else.
During the winter season from December to February, you can enjoy the full course of the salmon roe such as hot pot, anx liver, and sashimi at the hotels and inns in Shimoburo Onsenkyo called Kazama Uramura Ayu salmon Festival. Also, in early February, Kazamaura Village Ayu Tuna Thanksgiving Day is held, and at this event you can enjoy a limited amount of abalone soup and abalone nigiri sushi.
It is also a highlight of the snow-cutting demonstration where you can enjoy Kazamaura Ayu.
