The event "Hiroro DE Shinono" will be held on May 23rd at the Health Hall on the 3rd floor of Hiroro (Ekimae-cho, Hirosaki City).

This event started as a "hand-me-down event" where people could bring in children's clothes that they no longer need as they grew up, and give them away for free to people who want them. It will be held every month from May 2023, and this year will be the first anniversary. People can also bring their clothes on the day. This time, 14 stores will be participating.

The event is organized by the NPO Shino Base, which plans events mainly for the child-rearing generation. Shino Tsunoda, the representative director of the NPO and a mother of four, said, "It started as a parenting circle that was brought together by mommy friends. We started it with the aim of creating fun events for people of all ages, not just for children."

"Hiroro DE Shinono" was originally a free monthly "hand-me-down exchange event," but as it attracted people of child-rearing age, the number of vendors increased, and some participants became vendors themselves. Some of the vendors started their own businesses after participating in the event, and some are planning to start their own businesses in the future.

"LA SELLA," which will be opening its first store this time, is Aomori Prefecture's first salon specializing in femcare. It will exhibit and sell products such as vaginal care oil and menstrual cups. "accept me bodymake" is a specialized gym for skeletal vector training, and will provide free body make consultations.

Kakuta smiles and says, "We've been able to make it into our first year thanks to the help of those around me and the mom friends who participate. There are a variety of stalls every time, which I enjoy. Both stalls and participants are welcome, so please feel free to come."

The event will be held from 10am to 12pm. Admission is free.
