Shayokan, the birthplace of Osamu Dazai, a novelist who grew up in the climate of Aomori
Osamu Dazai, a writer known for novels such as "Human Disqualification" and "Shayo," is from Aomori Prefecture. The Dazai Osamu Memorial Hall "Shayokan" in Goshogawara is the building that was the birthplace of Osamu Dazai.
In addition to displaying materials as a memorial hall for Osamu Dazai, the grand residence built by his father, Dazai, who was a landowner in 1907 is also worth seeing as a wooden structure in the Meiji era of Japan.
