An installation (spatial exhibition) that mainly consists of photographs, "Keita Odagiri Solo Exhibition: Skin" is currently being held at Community Galleries A, B, and C at the Aomori Museum of Art (Yasuda, Aomori City).

Keita Odagiri, a photographer who lives in Hirakawa and is the representative of "Aomori Photo & Video Club", will exhibit 95 photographs of trees, plants, mountains, snow, women, etc. with the theme of "skin". It is said that the photograph "expressed realism by adopting matte paper, sticking to the texture".

Mr. Odagiri, who is also a mountaineering guide, says, "The 'skin' that I photograph in the mountains always gives me excitement and excitement, such as things that are difficult to see with the naked eye and scenery that once in a lifetime encounter." Among the works, there are pictures of creatures that are rare to see in the mountains, such as slime molds, mushrooms, and galls that are about 1 to 2 mm on leaves and bark.

For Odagiri, women are one of the subjects of the exhibition, which is about photographing "things familiar to us." "I'm x-gender and identify as female. I have many female friends, so it's natural for me to be a subject. I can be natural without being nervous." A woman in her 40s who had come from the city to see the work said with a smile, "The facial expressions of women taken by Mr. Odagiri are impressive. I wanted to see many photos with honest smiles and natural expressions."

Odagiri commented, "A few years ago, I decided to hold an exhibition with the theme of 'skin.' I want people to know about this. I want them to come and find works that they like and like.”
The opening hours are from 10:00 to 17:00 (until 15:00 on the last day). free entrance. Until March 26th.
