The cafe "Ska Vi Fika" (Sakamoto Yamamoto, Hirosaki City, TEL 050-5436-0855 ) moved to Kudoji Temple on May 14th.

The store opened in 2018 (Heisei 30) along the prefectural road No. 126 Kudoji Shinjimachi Line near Hirosaki Minami High School. It moved to the site of the "Children's Forest Store" that closed in November last year. The owner, Yuki Shimoyama, had a longing for Scandinavia, so the store name "ska vi fika?" Means "Do you want tea?" In Swedish.

According to Mr. Shimoyama, the chief priest of Kudoji Temple provided information as a tenant. "I like collecting red stamps, and I used to hold talk events for priests and display limited red stamps at previous stores. Before opening the store, my dream was to open a store where you can see the approach to the shrine and temples. "Mr. Shimoyama.

The store area is about 8.5 tsubo, and the number of seats is 8 table seats, 3 counter seats, and 8 terrace seats. The floor, walls and ceiling inside the store have been replaced, and a black counter has been newly installed. I brought the tables and chairs from the previous store. The store also sells Goshuin exhibits and works by local artists.

The menu includes "medicinal curry with plenty of onions" using 30 kinds of grains (with drink = 1,100 yen), coffee using pesticide-free and organically grown beans (500 yen), and herbal tea "Enjoyable tea" (650 yen). ) Etc. are provided. "Tofu pudding" (350 yen) and "tofu cake (baked cheesecake style)" (450 yen), which are "body-friendly sweets" that do not use eggs, sugar, milk, butter, or flour, will continue to be offered. "Petit Wapafe" (650 yen) has been renewed with the addition of matcha ice cream.

Mr. Shimoyama says that he does not yet understand the customer base and the flow of people. It is said that not only worshipers of Kudoji Temple but also many children visit nature observation outdoor activities in the "Children's Forest" because of the mountain trails. Mr. Shimoyama says, "I'm planning to open sandwiches for mountaineers and winter, so I want to make new menus such as warm dishes."

It's been a week since the move, and there were regular customers from the previous store who came by bus. "Thank you, I was able to move because of the help of those around me," says Shimoyama. "I want to continue as a cafe in front of the temple for a long time. I also want to set up a project to collaborate with Kudoji Temple and to revitalize the area with the people around me."

Business hours are from 11:00 to 16:30. Closed on Fridays and 3rd Thursdays.
