A barber shop and nail salon "18 (Ichihachi)" (Kitazono, Hirosaki City, TEL 0172-68-5265 ) opened on April 18 near Mitake Park.

The store was started by a barber, Takashi Yamato, and a nail technician, Satoko. The store name "18" is a combination of "Ichi" and "Hachi", which are widespread and auspicious. The logo depicts nails and hair.

Takashi worked at a barber shop in the Kanto region, but in 2014 (Heisei 26) he made a U-turn to Hirosaki. He worked at a haircut chain store, but he got to know Satoko and started thinking about independence. Satoko became independent in 2012 and launched the nail salon school "Fioritura". The two got married last year.

"I decided to have my own shop because it was a one-time life," says Takashi. Preparations for the opening of the business by two people started around May last year, and one building had two entrances, and the floor plan was connected inside. Inside the barber shop, the windows were enlarged to let in natural light. Bonsai is placed with the theme of Japanese, and wallpaper with the image of dead mountain water is installed. I built a small garden outside. Takashi smiles, "I want you to enjoy the garden while being cut."

The interior of the nail salon is particular about the use of colors and has a natural taste. Satoko said, "We have taken over the atmosphere of Fioritura and made it a cozy space. While men are cutting, women enjoy nails, and women shave after nails. I want to aim for how to use it. "

It's been a month since it opened, and many nail users are happy to try sledding for the first time. "Shaving down the hair may improve the makeup and make the complexion brighter. It is difficult for women to use it in a barber shop, so if we can lower the threshold by adding it to a nail salon," says Satoko. ..

The barber shop is for men only, and the menu includes cuts, sledges and shampoo. Adults = 2,200 yen, silver (60 years old and over) = 1,980 yen, junior high and high school students = 2,000 yen, children = 1,800 yen. The face sled for women is 2,000 yen. Nail menu includes nail care = 2,750 yen (hand), 3,300 yen (foot), extension = 880 yen (1), floater = 330 yen (1), etc.

Takashi said, "There was a student dormitory, and I expected to use it for students, but there were many elderly customers, and there were times when students and elderly customers chatted in the waiting space. I want to go. "

Business hours are barber shop = 8:30 to 18:30, nail salon = 10:00 to 19:00. Regular holidays will be announced on SNS.
