"Crunchy MAX" for British toast. The strongest crunch in the series' history.
Kudo Pan (Kanazawa 3, Aomori City) began selling "Special British Toast Crunchy MAX" on December 1st.
British toast is a long-selling sweet bread that has been sold in Aomori for over 50 years. The standard is margarine and granulated sugar sandwiched between two slices of British bread, and there are also series of products with cream or red bean paste sandwiched between them.
Jari Jari MAX is a product that responds to requests for a stronger "gritiness" than the "Motto Jari Mashi" product, which enhances the gritty texture of the classic British toast, and is characterized by the margarine and granulated sugar topping on the surface of the bread. Hideki Ebina, a sales representative for the company, said, "We have created the most gritty texture in the history of British toast. We aimed for a gritty texture that was delicious and natural, and found the perfect balance."
With this, there are now three types of British toast with sugar margarine, each with a different "gritty texture." Ebina says, "I want people to enjoy the different textures, or compare the classic, "More Crunchy," and "Crusty Max."
The price is 148 yen.
