Craft event "Ringo, Ringo, Ringo" in Aomori, including acrylic apple stands
An apple-themed event called "Ringo Ringo Ringo" will be held on November 9th and 10th at Aomori Prefectural Tourist and Products Center ASPAM (Yasukata 1, Aomori City).
The event aims to increase apple consumption and raise awareness of creators and their works in the local area. It is part of the "Aspam Weekend Marche," which has been held at Aspam once a month since 2020 with a different theme, and this will be the third time the "Apple, Ringo, Ringo" event has been held.
In addition to farmers, 31 stores from across the prefecture, including restaurants and craft artists, will be setting up stalls. Anyone who collects receipts from three stores within the venue will receive a badge depicting a photo of an apple and the variety. This will be the first time that a word rally will be held to learn about apple varieties, and a photo spot will be set up for the event featuring the "Apple Neputa Train" on the Konan Railway Owani Line. To coincide with the event, the souvenir shop inside the museum, "Aomori Prefecture Local Select," will be selling a limited edition of 50 "AOMORI Stands (Apple)" (750 yen), acrylic stands with apple-shaped accents.
Asuka Kami, from the Aomori Prefectural Tourism and International Exchange Organization, which is organizing the event, said, "We have increased the number of apple farms' stalls this year. On November 10th, we will be selling fresh apples, as well as cider and apple juice made by the farmers. We hope people will enjoy not only tasting the apples, but also learning about their appeal."
The event will be held from 10:00 to 15:00.
