Food specialty supermarket "Shokuseikatsu♥♥ (Love Love) Lopia" opened on August 9th.

The "Lopia Goshogawara Store" opened in the shopping center "ELM" (Karakasayanagi Fujimaki, Goshogawara City) is the first store in Aomori Prefecture and the second store in the Tohoku area after the "Sendai Yodobashi Store". On the opening day, there was a line of more than 500 people, the sales of the deli section broke the all-time record of all stores, and more than 2,000 pizzas were sold in one day.

The OIC Group (Kawasaki City) will develop Lopia in the Tokyo metropolitan area, as well as in Osaka, Kyoto, and Fukuoka. The Goshogawara store will be the 97th store nationwide, with the Hirosaki store scheduled to open in February 2025 at the former Ito-Yokado Hirosaki store and the Aomori store scheduled to open in 2024 at the former Ito-Yokado Aomori store.

The sales floor area is 2,800 square meters. The store is positioned as a shopping street, with five departments - meat, produce, fresh fish, prepared foods, and food - treated as independent stores, each with its own name. The interior features a wall painted with "Nebuta" (float festival floats), a corner with an Old America theme, and a pineapple-cutting machine. A model train is running on the ceiling of the confectionery corner, adding a playful touch.

According to Hiroshi Aikawa, who is in charge of the Tohoku and Hokkaido areas, the number of customers has not decreased even though it has been two weeks since the opening. "I was worried before the opening, but I am happy that so many people from Aomori have come to visit us. I would like to continue to aim to create a store that can propose a fun daily eating lifestyle," he said enthusiastically.

Business hours are from 10:00 to 20:00.
