"Tabekko Animal Land" in Aomori, 300 collaboration goods and photo spots
The pop-up shop "Tabekko Animal Land by VILLAGE VANGUARD" opened for a limited time on August 2nd at the shopping complex "THREE."
"Tabekko Animals" is a biscuit product that has been sold by the confectionery manufacturer "Ginbis" (Tokyo) since 1978 (Showa 53). The event has been touring Japan since 2020 in collaboration with the general goods store "Village Vanguard". This is the first time it has been held in Aomori Prefecture. During the event, about 300 collaborative goods such as confectionery and general goods will be on sale.
The event took place in a special POPUP space on the first floor of the main building, with a photo spot set up at the entrance featuring a "Big Ion-kun Balloon" and a "Rainbow Arch." POP displays showcasing the product's worldview were also set up, creating a lively atmosphere in the store.
The lineup includes "Tabekko Animal Embroidered Badges" (550 yen) with embroidered designs of the characters, Imabari Mini Towels (990 yen), and the self-supporting stuffed animal "Tabekko Animal Tatton Lion" (1,760 yen). According to staff member Misako Sato, new products will be added at any time.
Sato smiles and says, "I hope that people of all ages, from children to adults, will pick up these familiar animals."
Business hours are from 10:00 to 19:00 until August 25th.
