A Sunday morning market will be held on June 23rd at the Tsugaru Han Neputa Village (Kamekocho, Hirosaki City, TEL 0172-39-1511 ), a tourist facility near Hirosaki Park.

The market, which is held annually on Komise Street in Tsugaru Neputa Village, has been held since the facility was renovated in 2002 with the aim of increasing consumption of local products and revitalizing the area. This year, the 23rd event, is scheduled to feature up to 30 stalls.

Kazuhiro Hiyama, a manager of the Tsugaru Neputa Village Morning Market, said, "The biggest attraction is the lineup of seasonal vegetables and fruits. We hold the market every year, and thanks to your support, we have received a great response. At times, some stores sell out of their products in just 30 minutes after the start." He added, "We are always looking for producers to set up stalls."

On the first day, June 23rd, there will be a Fukaura tuna cut-up sale, as well as stalls offering Mutsu Bay scallops, fresh tokoroten, savory bread, and more.

The event will be held every Sunday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. until October 13th.
